Why Hypnosis!
Hypnosis deals directly with the cause of the problem, not the symptom. It can be a rapid, effective, permanent and easy way for you to clear unwanted beliefs, attitudes, programs and patterns, thus creating happiness, purpose and success in your life.
We work with a Neo Ericksonian approach and this approach offers a way of speaking to people that is captivating, calming, reassuring, inspiring and therapeutically productive. Like Erickson, I use metaphors and story telling extensively throughout the hypnotic trance.
The common underlying feature of virtually all problems presented by you, the client, is emotional pain and suffering.
Every client that walks into my office is a person that has some kind of a problem, and wants to be rid of it! Now the
first thing to do is to recognise that problem! Whether your problem is pain, anxiety, phobia, or a soul destroying habit, every one of those problems is a painful thing subjectively to you, the only difference being that you spell the pain sometimes as p-a-i-n, sometimes you spell it p-h-o-b-i-a or h-a-b-i-t, they are all equally hurtful!

like the alarms that warn pilots when they are too close to another plane. Pain directs attention toward the location and nature of the thought or behaviour that needs to be changed, it illuminates whatever is preventing or interfering with your comfort and it motivates you to seek help, thus your pain is something to be utilized rather than something to be attacked and destroyed.
So now hold that thought! ............. Now, if you were to come to me with anxiety or depression, or a troublesome habit, I would not immediately consider ways to eliminate these painful conditions. Instead I would begin to wonder what you would need to do or to stop doing now and in the future in order to begin feeling comfort and pleasure.

The number of activities our unconscious mind carries out for us is astounding and humbling. Whenever the situation
calls for the use of an unconscious memory, ability, or understanding, it seems to appear magically out of nowhere,
whether the conscious mind wants it to or not. We reach out and catch a tossed object without giving it a conscious thought, we scratch an itch or straighten our hair without consciouly knowing it. Names, dates, concepts and insights appear in our awareness. Emotional reactions bubble up from nowhere. Without realising it, we rely upon our
